The Files tab serves as a centralised place for all your project-related information and documentation. Your Files tab can include a number of folders such as contracts, certificates, installation datasheets, quotations and more.

Additionally, depending on the nature of the document, you can categorise and adjust your folders to be accessible by operatives and guests or restrict them to admin-level users.

In this article, we will walk you through the steps to create new folders, sort your files and change their visibility to public or private.

Steps to Organise Your Files Into Folders

  1. Log into your account at Onetrace.cloud

  2. Select the Project tab from the options in the left-hand menu.

  3. Select the Project you want to add or categorise the files for.

  4. Click Files from the top bar to view all the items you have added for that specific project.

  5. To organise your Files into folders, simply click the + New Folder button.

  6. Under the Name type the folder name you wish to create.

  7. From the Visibility dropdown, you can choose to make the folder either public or private.

  8. Click the Create Folder button.

By following these steps you will be able to create a new folder for your projects within your Onetrace account.

Steps to Make Your Folders Private

  1. Log into your account at Onetrace.cloud

  2. Select the Project tab from the options in the left-hand menu.

  3. Select the Project you want to add or categorise the files for.
