How To Start a Job From the App

Follow this step-by-step guide to start a job on your Onetrace Account using your mobile phone.

With Onetrace, your operatives can start a job on their Onetrace account on the go using their mobile phones.

In this article, we will walk you through the steps on how to start a job from the Onetrace mobile app.


Steps to Start a Job From the App

  1. Log into your account via the Onetrace mobile app.

  2. Select the Jobs tab from the bottom left corner of your mobile screen.

  3. Press the + Plus in the bottom right-hand corner.

  4. Select the Project you need to work on. For this example, we are choosing Onetrace Project.

  5. Select the job you wish to start. For this example, we are choosing Fire Stopping Install.

  6. Press the Start Job button.

  7. Press the + Plus in the bottom right-hand corner.

  8. Press the Create New Location option.

  9. Choose the Block. For this example, we are choosing Block A.

  10. Choose the Level. For this example, we are choosing Level 0.

  11. Drop your pin at the location you need to start the work at.

  12. Press the eye icon from the top column to view all the previous work that's been done.

  13. If any changes were done to the drawing using the main system, press the Refresh sign from the top column so that your app reflects all the changes.

  14. Press the Create button.

  15. Fill out your Job Form as necessary.

  16. After completing the form, press the < back arrow.

🚨 To add more job items press the blue + button and repeat the process.

🚨 You can add multiple job items to a job.

🚨 After you've submitted the work the jobs will sync up with the main system and disappear from the mobile to avoid any data loss.

🚨 You can start multiple jobs at a time and submit the work once complete.

By following these steps you will be able to start a new job from your mobile phone app within your Onetrace account.
