How To Create Fields and Add Them to Your Job Forms

Follow this step-by-step guide to learn how to create fields and add them to your job forms in your Onetrace Account.

With Onetrace, you can create your own fields and add them to your job forms.

In this article, we will walk you through the steps to:


Steps to Create Fields

1. Log into your account at Onetrace.cloud

2. Select the Settings tab from the options in the left-hand menu.

3. Click the Project Templates tab from the top bar. Select the Project Template you want to work on. For this example, we are choosing Fire Door.

4. Select the Fields tab from the options in the left-hand menu.

5. Click the + Add Field button.

6. Add the Field Name under the blank column. For this example, we are adding Fire Door Rating.

7. From the Field Type dropdown menu select Dropdown.

8. In the Options column, type in the ratings. For this example, we are adding FD30, FD60 and, FD90.

9. Click the Create button.

After creating your field you will be redirected to the project templates screen. Follow the below-mentioned steps to add your field to your job forms.

Steps to Add Your Fields to Your Job Forms

1. Select the Job Forms tab from the options in the left-hand menu.

2. Choose the Job Form you want to add the Fire Door Rating field to.

3. Hover your cursor on the right-hand side of your chosen form and click on the three dots and click the Edit button.

4. Click the + Select The Fields button.

5. Select the field you just created to include in your job forms by clicking the Check Boxes on the right of each item.

6. Click the Select button.

7. Click the Update button.

By following these steps you will be able to add fields to your job forms within your Onetrace account.
